Gov Ajimobi : Your Death Is A Great Loss – Segun Odebunmi Pays Tribute .
The All Progressives Congress(APC) Caucus of the Members , House of Representatives has described the death of the former governor of Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi as a great loss to Oyo state and Nigeria at large . This is contained in a tribute and condolence message signed by Caucus Chairman, Hon Dokun Odebunmi (Bunvic) and made available to the newsmen .
“We received with shock and disbelief, the death news of our great leader, Senator Abiola Ajimobi. It was indeed a sad news and a bitter pill to swallow. He was to us a father, benefactor and role model whose legacies will continue to live on”.
“Senator Ajimobi during his lifetime was a pathfinder and architect of modern Oyo state who as a governor restored the lost glory of the state and placed it on a new path of glory, setting pace for others to follow”.
“We cannot but accept his demise as the will of Almighty Allah and we pray that Allah grant him eternal rest”, Odebunmi prayed .
While consoling the family and APC in Oyo State and country at large, the lawmakers ,APC Caucus, prayed that may God grant his immediate, extended and political family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss .
