Group Congratulates Liadi Tella As FG Appoints Him “Governing Council Chair of Federal College of Education in Osun State.

An influential Pro- Nigeria and Sociopolitical Group, Think Nigeria Solidarity Movement(TNSM) has congratulated the former Managing Director of Monitor Newspapers and Senior Research Fellow, Department of Mass Communication, University of Ilorin, Alhaji Liadi Tella on his appointment as the Chairman, Governing Council of the newly established Federal College of Education, Iwo in Osun State.

This is contained in a press release issued by the National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Alli Egbesola which was made available to the newsmen in Oshogbo, Osun State.

“PRESS RELEASE.

We, from ‘Think Nigeria Solidarity Movement(TNSM)’, are ecstatic to join other Nigerians to congratulate our Veteran Journalist, Detribalised Statesman, former Managing Director of Monitor Newspapers and Senior Research Fellow, Department of Mass Communication, University of Ilorin, Alhaji Liadi Tella on your well deserved appointment as the Chairman, Governing Council of the newly established Federal College of Education, Iwo, Osun State.

Sir, we see your appointment, to the position, as a round peg in a round hole at this point in time when Nigerian Educational System needs a more versatile person, someone who is well groomed and highly exposed with stronger character.

It is our hope that the College (FCE, Iwo) will benefit from the pool of your, Alhaji Laidi Tella. You have worked in various firms and served in different capacities. And with all these experiences, someone that possesses such is a valuable asset that should be contributing his quota, at all levels, to the progress of the nation.

Furthermore, we use this medium to congratulate all other members of the council, the Provost, Registrar, Bursar and all others who are still going to be working with present appointed members. It is our conviction that Alhaji Liadi Tella and all other members of the council will definitely add value to the Federal College of Education, Iwo and by extension to the entire educational system of the country.

Conclusively, we congratulate His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Akanbi, Telu 1, The Oluwo of Iwo Empire, for having this kind of opportunity at his own time, having Federal College of Education being headed by the Son of the Soil.
