Happy 64th Independence Day to Nigerians | Hon Bimbo Kolade

As we celebrate our nation’s 64th Independence Day, let us reflect deeply on the incredible journey that led to this day. We are not there yet, but with dedication, commitment, and support to the government, we will get there. The freedom we enjoy today is the result of the determination and sacrifice of countless men and women who laid down their lives for our nation. Their stories of courage continue to inspire us and remind us of the true value of freedom.

The path to independence was long and marked by years of struggle against British rule. Nigeria today,  I can say, is on the right path of economic recovery and breakthroughs where all and sundry will dwell in Nigeria of their dream.

What exactly do we need to do to get it right? From the government who needs to formulate long-term friendly & right policies that suit our clime to the citizens who needs to support the policies by cooperating with the government.

As we journey into another year, I hope that the renewed hope agenda of this present government will yield positive and lasting results that will alleviate the poverty, increase our local productivity, reduce unemployment, improve security and quality education at all levels.
Congratulations to us all, and I wish us more fruitful celebrations in the days to come.
