Happy Int’l Women’s Day – Agrotech Expert, Dr Adebayo Adams Salutes Womenfolk.

The Renowned Agrotech Expert, Dr Adebayo Adams has celebrated women as people of virtues and values, on the occasion of this year International Women’s Day(IWD) celebration.

The front line Member, House Assembly Hopeful, from Ibadan Northwest Constituency, Dr Adams lauded women as pride of humanity.

The influential Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Dr Adams IWD’s message goes thus,”Happy International Women’s Day. Today is the ‘International Women’s Day(IWD)’, a day, set aside, to celebrate women and their economic, political, and social achievements around the world. It is also a time to focus on places and situations where major issues like gender parity, sexual abuse, women’s rights, mental health, workplace safety and economic inequality still have a long way to go.

I join our women across the globe as we celebrate the many milestones on the road to gender equality, and recommit ourselves to fight for the rights and opportunities of women and girls around the world.

The theme for this year’s according to United Nation observance is ‘Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow’.

The year 2022 is pivotal for achieving gender equality in the context of all that is happening in our environment today. Our women have played important roles in Nations’ building while I commend them for their effort and sacrifice. Without gender equality today, a sustainable future, and an equal future, remains beyond our reach.

In spite of the severe challenges, it confronts, in the forms of violence against women, female foeticide, adverse sex ratio and greater incidence of poverty among women, the womenfolk has become undaunted and will strive on to establish of a sane, sustainable and peaceful world order.

this epoch making movement have played on exemplary role and will continue to be a major determinant of its future progress for higher levels of achievement.

On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, I have great pleasure in extending my greetings and good wishes to the women, all over the world for the success of the Women’s Day celebration. And Kindly permit me to celebrate my Grandmother of blessed memory,’Late Alhaja Mojirade Rabiat Adedeji (Sayodunro), Princess of Iba Oluyole dynasty’. She’s a great woman, highly industrious and illustrious daughter of Iba Oluyole. May Almighty Allah be pleased with her in Aljanat Fridaus (Aamin).

My prayer is with all the women who are facing domestic violence, and most especially, our women in Ukraine who are passing through difficult moments of their lives. May God Almighty ease them all. The women in Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan and other parts of the world are also remembered and may God be with them all.

I salute our women because wherever they are there is magic, and sincerely, they are the real architects of the society. I wish our women great success in all spheres of life, positively and happy celebration.
