HIJRAH: Hon ‘Dayo Adeniyi Felicitates Muslim Ummah

As today marked the first day of the new Islamic calendar year, APC candidate in the 2024 local government election in Ibadan North Local Government Area, Hon. Dayo Nurudeen Adeniyi, has rejoiced with Muslim faithfuls across the globe over the new Islamic year that commenced on Thursday, June 26 (Yaumul-Ahmis, Muharam 1, 1447 AD).

While celebrating the Muslim Ummah, Adeniyi wrote, “With an open heart, I welcome all Muslim faithful across the world to the new year. I wish you abundant wealth, success and tranquillity throughout this glorious year.”

“The Party Stalwart urges his constituents to reflect on the past and embrace the future with good hope and courage. Since it will be far better than today.

“Let’s encourage one another in contributing our quota to the growth and developments of our local government, our dear state, our country, and the world at large. This will be a testament to the saying of our beloved and kindhearted Prophet Muhammad (SAW), who says, “Love for one’s town or country is part of faith.” This, however, will intensify our loyalty to our homeland, the party chieftain emphasised.
