Hon Oladiran Alabi Lauds Successful Congress in Ibadan Southwest, Salutes Oyo APC Leaders for Peaceful Exercise

Honourable Oladiran Alabi, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has hailed the successful congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his local government, Ibadan Southwest Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Hon. Alabi saluted Oyo APC leadership and maintained it has been able to prove the naysayers wrong with the outcomes of its Ward and Local Government Area Congresses, which have been adjudged ‘largely peaceful and successful’, saying that the development was an indication that the Party would make good its promise to record overwhelming victories in the next general elections, come 2027.

“In fact, this is a new dawn in the Oyo State chapter of our great party – APC! I commended our leaders and stakeholders for prioritising peace, unity and progress. This is an omen of victory come 2027, and we now hope to carry on with the same unity and harmony to dislodge the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State and enthrone progressive governance in the state.

Following the successful conduct of its Congress across the 351 wards in the state on Wednesday, Oyo APC replicated the feat on Saturday as its Congress in all the 33 local government areas took place in an atmosphere of peace and harmony, producing a new set of Executive Committee members who would manage the affairs of the party in the next four years.

Alabi attributed the success of the congresses to the new understanding, passion and team spirit among members and leaders “who have vowed to completely bury their hatchets and work together as a team to facilitate all-round victory for the party in future elections, particularly those that are happening next year.” Let’s sustain the tempo.
