Hon Shakirat Adetunji Pays Tribute to Prince Akinremi
A Chieftainess of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Oyo State, Honourable Shakirat A. Adetunji, popularly known as ASHAD has mourned the sudden demise of the Member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North federal constituency, Prince Musiliu Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban.
In a condolence message, issued by Hon. Adetunji described late Akinremi as a charismatic legislator who had impacted people’s lives and delivered dividends of democracy for his constituents.
Hon. Adetunji described Akinremi’s death as shocking, painful and difficult to comprehend.“Indeed, I’m totally lost for words on the death of my beloved brother and committed party man.
“He was a man that worked tirelessly for the betterment of his constituency through programs, policies and empowerment. He impacted them in many ways.
“Jagaban was a man full of life and very involved in our party both at the local and national level.
“At this trying time, we pray Almighty Allah comforts his family, Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Oyo APC, Oyo State, and us all. May God SWT repose his soul in Aljannah Firdaus.” Hon. Adetunji stated.
