Hon Sodiq Aderinto Honours Retiring Principal, Mrs Beatrice Oluwakemi Badaro, at Olubadan High School Football Competition

Olubadan High Senior School witnessed an atmosphere of celebration and reflection as Honourable Sodiq Aderinto hosted the 2025 Inter-Class Football Competition in honour of the retiring principal, Mrs Beatrice Oluwakemi Badaro. The event brought together students, staffers, alumni, and community members in a vibrant display of unity and gratitude.

In his address, Hon. Aderinto expressed deep appreciation for the retiring principal, highlighting her exceptional leadership, commitment to quality education, and motherly support to students through the years. He recalled how her guidance and positive influence shaped students and life and gave the school a new look by challenging old students for a remarkable project. He prayed for God’s continued blessings upon her and wished her peace, strength, and fulfilment in all future endeavours.

Responding emotionally, Mrs Badaro thanked Hon. Aderinto for honouring her through the competition and for his unwavering support to the school. She prayed that Almighty God would grant him his heart’s desires and bless his political aspirations ahead of 2027.

A major highlight of the event was the official commissioning of the newly renovated school entrance gate, a project facilitated with the support of Hon. Aderinto.

The ceremony also featured the presentation of the competition trophy to the winning class and the distribution of notebooks to students, reinforcing his commitment to educational development.
