Hon Sulaiman Alimi ‘Olorunero’ Mourns Omodewu, Describes Late Oyo APC Chairman As ‘Champion of Peace, Unity’

Former Councillor in Ibadan North Local Government Area (LGA) of Oyo State, Honourable Sulaiman Alimi ‘Olorunero’, has described the sudden passage of the Oyo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barr Issac Ajiboye Omodewu, as a colossal loss to the party.

In a statement issued yesterday in Ibadan, Olorunero maintained that Omodewu’s death is shocking and has come at a time when the party is trying to resolve its internal crisis.

Hon. Alimi described the late chairman as a bridge builder who contributed immensely to the development of APC and Oyo State.

Olorunero lauded his selfless commitment to promoting peace and unity among party members.

Olorunero extended his sincere  condolences to the immediate family and the entire APC family in the state, saying his demise is a colossal loss to the APC and the entire state.

Olorunero, however, called on the leadership of the party to ensure that the legacy of Ajiboye Omodewu is kept alive. “May his soul rest in peace,”  he submitted.
