Hope Rises for Oyo Indigenes on Customs Recruitment !! By Adeniyi Olowofela

Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) will reopen portal in the first week of December.

Comptroller General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd) gave the information when summoned by Federal Character Commission (FCC) to clear some issues on the recent recruitment exercise.

The Chairman of the Commission, Dr. Muheeba Dankaka, Chaired the meeting with twenty Commissioners in attendance.

Oyo-State indigenes who have been denied opportunity of recruitment into Customs still have hope as Custom portal will be opened by first week in December. If you have done the interview before kindly log in again by the first week.

Currently 51 people from Oyo-State have been employed. 81 more people will be employed .

The calculation is borne out of the fact, that four people will be employed from each Local Government, since we have 33 Local Governments , the total expected for our state is 132. However only 51 has been employed so far, hence the need for additional 81

Customs portal is free. Also don’t give money to anybody who may claim that they can help you. Please note that only those who have done interview before should respond to the portal once opened.
