House of Reps Hopeful, Asiwaju Olumide Alli Mourns Chief Omodewu, Describes Late Oyo APC Chairman As ‘Iconic Politician’
Asiwaju Olumide Yaqub Alli (OYA), a pro-people politician and aspirant for the House of Representatives from Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency come 2027, has paid a glowing tribute to the late chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Barr. Isaac Omodewu, describing his death as a “devastating blow” and a “monumental loss” to the party.
Alli eulogised Chief Omodewu as a “towering statesman, unwavering democrat, and iconic politician” who dedicated his life to uniting the party and propelling it to greatness in the state.
“The news of our amiable chairman’s untimely demise has sent waves of sorrow throughout the party, leaving us, the party faithful, chieftain, and stakeholders in a state of grief. May God give us the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and repose his soul in paradise.” He prayed.
The influential politician, Asiwaju Alli, continued,”Indeed, Chief Omodewu’s passing is a crushing loss, especially at this critical juncture when his vast experience and leadership were crucial in navigating the party’s challenges.
The former council boss, Hon. Alli extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and all the bereaved. He prayed for divine strength to bear the sad loss.
“The APC family in Oyo State will deeply miss Chief Omodewu’s sage guidance, wisdom, and visionary leadership. His enduring legacy will continue to inspire and motivate party members to strive for excellence. May his noble soul rest in eternal peace,” Asiwaju Alli, Oyo State Coordinator of the Tinubu Transformation Agenda (TITAN), submitted.
