House of Reps Hopeful, ‘Socrates’ Congratulates Senator Sharafadeen Alli on Chieftaincy Elevation

Honourable Monsuru Akintunde Adeyemo (Socrates), a prominent House of Representatives hopeful for the forthcoming by-election in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, has congratulated Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli on his elevation as Eekaarun Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Senator Alli received the honour on August 30 at the Olubadan Palace, Yemetu, Oke Aremo, Ibadan.

In a statement, Hon. Adeyemo, the former Vice Chairman of the Aare Latosa Local Council, praised Senator Alli, saying, “Congratulations to our valued leader and an iconic High Chief on your promotion. I wish you the best of luck as you take on new responsibilities in the affairs of Ibadanland.”

Adeyemo described Senator Alli as the “pride of Ibadan Land and a genuine son of the soil,” acknowledging his positive impact on people’s lives as a senator.

“The Distinguished, Sir! You have brought relief to the people of your senatorial district, and I wish you more success,” he said.
