IBADAN: Barr Agbaje Congratulates New Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun over Coronation.
A front line Oyo Gubernatorial Aspirant, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), come 2023, Barrister Akeem Agbaje has joined other Ibadan descendants and eminent Nigerians, at home and in diasporas, to congratulate the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba(Dr) Moshood Olalekan Balogun over his coronation, today Friday, March 11, as the monarch of the city of warriors – Ibadan.
The Scion of Agbaje Salami L’Ayeye, Barr Akeem in his congratulatory message described Oba Balogun’s ascension to the throne of his forefathers as an omen of more peaceful, prosperous and successful Ibadan land.
“Your Majesty, sir, I’m happy to join my fellow indigenes of Ibadan land, your immediate family, entire royal family, the government and people of Oyo State, Your ascension to the ancient throne of your forefathers. Kabiesi you are a round peg in round hole.
“Indeed, Oba Lekan Balogun is ascending the throne as a monarch with imperial panache. Kabiesi is a gold among special metals. Baba is up to the task to bring more dignity and prestige to the throne of his ancestors through his charismatic mode of leadership and sagacious disposition”, Agbaje lauded.
Akeem Agbaje extolled Oba Balogun and saluted his passion geared towards the progress of Ibadan land.
The legal luminary, Agbaje wished the first class royal father many peaceful and fruitful years on his ancient throne.
