Ibadan Explosion: Oyo APC Women Ambassadors Empathises with Engr Idris Adeoye, Others
In the aftermath of the devastating explosion that rocked Ibadan recently, the Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Ambassadors have extended their heartfelt sympathies to Engr. Idris Adeoye, a notable philanthropist, and others affected by the tragedy.
The group’s spokesperson, Alhaja Tinu Adigun, issued a solidarity message in Ibadan today, conveying their solidarity messages to Engr. Adeoye and all those who suffered losses of both lives and properties in the explosion.
“On behalf of myself and the entire Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Ambassadors, we empathize with you and all those who lost their loved ones and properties during the explosion,” stated Alhaja Tinu Adigun.
“We pray that God grants you strength during this trying time and replaces your losses with even greater blessings. God is with you, and He shall not let you down,” she added, “You’re blessed bi Barka Suratul Dua”, Adigun prayed.
The explosion, which originated from explosive materials stored in a flat at Old Bódìjà in Ìbàdàn, plunged the city and Oyo State into mourning, claiming lives, causing injuries, and damaging numerous properties and buildings.
Preliminary investigations by security agencies revealed that the occupants of the house had stored explosive materials, prompting concerns about safety measures and regulations regarding such hazardous materials.
In response to the incident, Oyo state authorities have outlined various measures aimed at preventing similar occurrences in the future, emphasizing the importance of stringent safety protocols and regulations to safeguard lives and properties across the state.
