An elder brother to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo-State, one Mr Muyiwa Makinde, has been alleged of connivance with People’s Democratic Party(PDP) Candidate of Member, House of Representatives(MHR), in Ibadan North Federal Constituency Constituency, Mr Olanrewaju Sarumi, a close ally of Gov. Makinde, and some elements, to steal victory behind the back door.
A Chieftain of APC who spoke under the condition of anonymity, made this allegation, early today. In his words,”We know Olanrewaju Sarumi. He’s known for buying votes with money, either in dollars and naira. Manipulation is his track mark but he has, also, failed this time around.
“Yes, we’re peace loving people but Sarumi and his co-travellers should know that no one has monopoly of violence and any attempt of manipulation will be met with swift resistance.
In a similar development, and as exclusively gathered, a video has surfaced online where the party’s flagbearer was trying to invade the Federal Constituency’s collation centre, and he was prevented by security personnel, from causing mayhem.
