Ibadan North By-election: Stalwarts Rally Support for Socrates’ House of Reps Bid

The Cadres of the Pan-African Republik-Oyo Progressive and Developmental Movement (OPDM) convened a meeting yesterday, bringing together members physically and virtually to discuss the House of Representatives agenda of the leader of the movement, Comrade Monsuru Adeyemo, popularly known as Socrates, and other related matters.
Comrade Mutiu Afolabi, Coordinator of the Movement and former Coordinator of Ajumose Marines (Youth & Student Wing), led the gathering through a retrospective journey, highlighting the successes achieved together.
Afolabi, a former Deputy Coordinator of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), emphasised the importance of supporting Comrade Socrates’ bid for the House of Representatives.
Comrade Ibrahim Banjoko, a former NANS/JCC Chairman in Oyo State, praised Comrade Socrates’ virtues, affirming that he is the best candidate for the position.
Comrade Mojeed Bello, a former NANS National Treasurer, lauded Adeyemo’s philosophy of mutually beneficial relationships and human capital developmental orientation, describing him as a blessing to the Ibadan North Federal Constituency and humanity in general.
Comrade Alli Egbesola, a former Vice President of NANS and National Coordinator of Think Nigeria Solidarity Movement (TNSM), emphasised Socrates’ philosophy of “As I win, you win” and appealed to the APC leadership and the people of Ibadan North to grant Adeyemo the mandate, assuring them of quality representation.
Virtual participants also commended Comrade Socrates’ courage and integrity, describing him as a passionate and charismatic leader.
The meeting demonstrated the strong support and momentum building behind Comrade Adeyemo’s candidacy as OPDM members and allies rallied to ensure his success in the upcoming by-election.
