Ibadan North Bye-election: You’re Integrous, Competent—Ibadan Mogajis Throw Weight Behind APC Candidate, Hon Adewale Olatunji Murphy

The association of Ibadan Mogajis, Ibadan North Chapter, has endorsed the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Wale Olatunji Murphy, for the August 16 bye-election in a meeting held at 36, Gbadebo Street, Mokola, in Ibadan.
While addressing the chiefs, Mogaji Abass Oloko highlighted that the purpose of the meeting is to rally round Murphy since he is a man of integrity and human diligence. He is not only a grassroots politician but also an intelligent politician that understands the streets.
The Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oloye Gafar Ojetola, applauded the Mogajis for honouring the invitation. We are appealing to you to support Murphy. If Murphy is not competent, Mogaji Oloko won’t facilitate this meeting. Don’t hesitate to spread the message of his mandate to other chiefs. We are here to use Osemeji, Oke Ibadan, and Ibadan warriors to appeal to you. Murphy’s emergence as our Federal Representative is our priority,” he appealed.
In his remarks, Mogaji Ojeleye Ojelade advised Murphy not to stop his good deeds. Be a man of everybody as our representative; do the needful. Remember the rigorous challenges you encountered before you won the ticket. Listen to your constituents and fulfil your promises. We assured the current senator of our support, and he emerged. You will emerge,” he stated.
Mogaji Ajobo noted the news of Murphy’s emergence reached them in Lagos when they went for a public hearing regarding Ibadan State. “We believe that the party at the Federal should be the one in Ibadan North Federal Constituency since the Progressive party has never disappointed the constituents.
In his remarks, the candidate of APC, Hon. Adewale Olatunji Murphy, appreciated the Mogajis. He prayed fervently for the chiefs, for their kindness and support. “I’ll try to the best of my ability.”
Murphy assured the traditional leaders of his mutually beneficial relationship and cooperation.
