Ibadan North Byelection: ‘Dayo Adeniyi Congratulates APC Candidate, Hon Wale Olatunji Murphy, Calls for Party Cohesion

Following his nomination by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the submission of his name to the Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC), Hon. ‘Dayo Adeniyi, the APC 2024 chairmanship candidate for Ibadan North Local Government Area in Oyo State, has congratulated Hon. Adewale Olatunji, widely known as Murphy, over his emergence as the party’s standard-bearer in the forthcoming bye-election for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency, scheduled for August 16th.
While congratulating the Deputy Director-General (DDG) of Ibadan North Campaign Council, 2024, Adeniyi wrote,”Congratulation to our inspiring leader on your emergence as the standard bearer of our great party, All Progressives Congress (APC), in the forthcoming bye-election. I wish you a resounding and historical success in the election.

Adeniyi continued,”As a party stalwart, you have paid your dues, which bring about your emergence as our party candidate, and it is a testament to your commitment to the success and progress of the party since the beginning of the Fourth Republic.

“Sir, please, consider your emergence as a responsibility and commitment to a cause that will not only unite the party but also put the party in good shape ahead of the bye-election so that we will emerge victorious against all odds.
“Be rest assured of my loyalty and utmost support of me and my people across our beloved Federal Constituency during the short period of electioneering campaign since your loyalty during our local council election in 2024 can never be underestimated,” Adeniyi emphasised.
“To our party leaders and members, I am appealing to you to forgive and forget the past scenario, and let us unite and come together to work for the success of the party massively in the upcoming bye-election. This will not only strengthen our party, but it will help us achieve greatness in the near future,” Adeniyi urged.
“I wish our party and our candidate a resounding victory that will be beneficial to all the constituents irrespective of our affiliation,” Adeniyi submitted.
