Ibadan North House of Reps Hopeful, ‘Socrates’, Pays Glowing Tribute to Late Chief Michael Koleoso

Honourable Monsuru Akintunde Adeyemo (Socrates), a leading aspirant in the forthcoming by-election in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, has expressed grief over the demise of Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleoso, a former Secretary to Oyo State Government and revered Babalaje of Saki land.

In a heartfelt condolence message issued on Tuesday, Socrates described the passing of the 86-year-old political icon as a devastating blow to Oke Ogun Zone, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole.

The former student union leader and communication scholar hailed Chief Koleoso’s immense contributions to the development of Oyo State and the nation, acknowledging his role as a shrewd politician, successful entrepreneur, and esteemed community leader who served with unwavering dedication and integrity.

Socrates praised Chief Koleoso’s instrumental role in shaping Nigeria’s political landscape as a former National Chairman of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) during a critical period in the nation’s history. 

Adeyemo eulogised the late leader as a paragon of wisdom and an exemplary leader whose legacy will continue to inspire generations.

Adeyemo extended his deepest condolences to the family, the people of Saki Land, and all those who were touched by Chief Koleoso’s life and leadership. He prayed for the repose of his soul and asked God to comfort his family during this difficult time.
