Ibadan North House Reps Hopeful, Hon Qatar Mourns Late Chief Koleosho

Honourable Adebayo Bashir Adegoke (QATAR), former Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government Area, has paid tribute to the late Babalaje of Sakiland, Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleosho, describing him as a core progressive and a towering figure in the political landscape.

Chief Koleosho, who passed away on Monday at the age of 86, was a renowned politician and statesman who served in various capacities, including Commissioner in the administration of the late Chief Bola Ige, Secretary to the State Government, and national chairman of the defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD).

Hon. Adegoke, a Member, House of Representatives (MHR) aspirant for Ibadan North Constituency in the forthcoming by-election, extended his heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Chief Koleosho, describing his passing as a significant loss to the community and to all who knew him.

“Chief Koleosho was a guiding force in Oke-Ogun, Oyo State, and Nigeria, and his wisdom and leadership will be sorely missed. Hon. Adegoke said.

“May God grant him eternal rest and give his family the strength to bear this loss. May Baba’s soul rest in peace.”

“The late Chief Koleosho’s contributions to the political landscape of Okeogun and Saki axis will be deeply remembered, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations. Adìeu to the legend.” Qatar stated.
