IBADAN NORTH: Prince Akinremi Jagaban Commissions Another Borehole, Encourages Active Community Supervision Maintenance

The House of Representatives member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi, popularly known as Jagaban, has commissioned another borehole project within his constituency, adding to the growing number of water-related projects he has facilitated for the benefit of his people.

This latest borehole project is sited at Majeobaje Community, Agbowo, a community in the Ward 12 area of Ibadan North, and present at the commissioning event, which took place on Saturday, March 9, 2024, were stakeholders and members from the community, as well as from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ibadan North Local Government area.

Rt. Hon. Olaide Akinremi, who was represented by one of the prominent leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North, Hon. Femi Adedokun JP, appreciated the community for the support they have always given to the APC and particularly to Prince Akinremi Jagaban, while applauding the Ibadan North Federal Lawmaker for his exemplary representation so far. He admonished the Majeobaje Community to ensure proper supervision and maintenance of the borehole project so it can continue to serve them for many years. 

Chairman of the Majeobaje Community Landlords and Landladies Association, Alhaji Adeyi, alongside the Patron of their association, Elder Toki A.A., lauded Hon. Olaide Akinremi for being a truthful politician who fulfils promises. In their addresses, they noted that Hon. Olaide Akinremi gave solar streetlights to their community while still fulfilling their request for a borehole, which they made in the course of the last electioneering campaign. They prayed that God Almighty continues to strengthen Prince Akinremi Jagaban so as to continue the good works he currently does.

Other leaders of the Ibadan North APC who were present included Alhaja Tairat Adeyemi, Chief Mrs. Wemimo Beckley, Mama Bisi Olasope, and Hon. Bamidele Ogunleye. Also present were members of the Ibadan North APC Local Government Executives led by the Chairman, Alhaji Taofeek Olayiwola, who was represented by his Vice, Hon. Olanrewaju Monsuru. Representatives of the Ward Chairmen as well as party members were also on ground to witness the occasion.
