Ibarapa Zone Accords ‘Bimbo Adekanmbi Cordial Reception As He Attends Baptist Grammar School’s 11th Alumni Reunion, AGM in Eruwa(PHOTOS).
A front line Senatorial Hopeful, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), come 2023, Honourable Abimbola Adekanmbi has been accorded warm reception while attending 11th Alumni Reunion and Annual General Meeting(AGM) of the Baptist Grammar School, Eruwa, in Ibadan zone of Oyo-State.
Baptist Grammar School Eruwa is a foremost and first of its kind in Eruwa town, and in the whole of Ibarapaland. The school has produced several well-meaning sons and daughters of the land who are all well established, known and flourishing in their chosen careers.
The school had her 11th Alumni reunion and Annual General Meeting(AGM) on January 3 at the school hall where all ex-students of all sets were either present or represented by their classmates.
The National President of Baptist Old Students Association, Mr Akeem Adenle in his opening speech appreciated God for His unflinching support. He lauded all the coordinating members of the group and all the ex-students of the citadel of learning at home and the diasporas for keeping the bonds ever strong and alive always.
The President showered encomia on the Chairman of the occasion and former Commissioner of Finance, Hon ‘Bimbo Adekambi he stated that,”The honourable is not from here , Eruwa, but he has shown love to us beyond what we can define and he has always been there for us whenever the need arises.
Hon. Adekanmbi in his speech appreciated Sheikh Sulaemon Moshood who is the Parents- Teachers Association, PTA’s chairman of the school despite his religion and the name of the school
The internationally renown Forensic Accountant, Adekanmbi canvassed for objective system that prioritizes merit and allows only the round peg in the round hole.
“We must prioritize the unity of our dear country and ways of getting the new country of our own through hard work, prayers and being sincere with merit system approach where a round peg can only and deliberately be allow in a round hole”, Former Deputy Chief of Staff(DCoS), Adekanmbi reiterated.
The notable Philanthropist, Adekanmbi in his usual gestures, gave financial support towards the school projects and also donated cash to the best graduating students in accounting, and he rolled out monetary aid to each of the best graduating students of Economics and Commerce respectively.
Abimbola Adekanmbi is former Finance Commissioner, in the state, and seasoned administrator. He is a detribalized Nigerian and Christian devout, who treats man equally, irrespective of their creed or colour, religion or region.
He is a pro-people thinker, silent philanthropist, influential chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and Oyo South Senatorial Hopeful, on the platform of APC, come 2023.
