Independence Day: Chief Kolapo Kola-Daisi Greets Nigerians At 64

Fellow Constituents and Citizens, as we commemorate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day, it is with a deep sense of pride and gratitude that I extend my heartfelt greetings to the good people of Oyo South Senatorial District and to all Nigerians across the country and abroad.

This day marks a significant chapter in our nation’s history—one that symbolises the courage, resilience, and unity of our founding leaders and our people. It is a day to reflect on how far we have come as a nation and to renew our hope for a brighter and more prosperous future for our communities, our state, and our beloved Nigeria.

Our country is 64 today, there is no better day to reiterate that the befitting progress we seek is a shared vision. Therefore, let us reaffirm our commitment to fostering peace, progress, and unity—not just within our own coffers, but also to the larger Nigerian project.

We are not without challenges, but our strength lies in our ability to overcome adversity and in our shared determination to move our nation forward. As we celebrate the hard-fought freedom of our past, let us also embrace the future with optimism and a collective responsibility to uphold the values of justice, democracy, and equity.

Let this Independence Day serve as a reminder of the power of unity and the importance of continued effort in building a Nigeria we can all be proud of.

Happy Independence Day to us all. May God bless Nigeria, and may God bless Oyo State.

Sincerely,
Kolapo Kola-Daisi
JEKA DASI.
