Independence Day: Oke-Aare Aina Celebrates Nigeria At 64, Urges Nigerians To Trust President Tinubu Government
Honourable Oke-Aare Aina, popularly known as JEGA, has celebrated Nigeria on the occasion of her 64th Independence Day celebration.
JEGA, who is a chieftainess of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress, from Oluyole Local Government, felicitated the country in her Independence Day press release titled ‘Nigeria: A Great Nation at 64’.
The press release reads in part, “I am thrilled to celebrate Nigeria at 64. Today is historic in the blossoming history of our dear country. A lot of tribes, cultures, religions, and languages came together to form this country. Nigeria exists as a nation because all Nigerians, irrespective of tribes, languages, genders, and cultures, have decided to ensure the non-negotiable unity and existence of this great nation.”
Hon. Oke-Aare Aina appealed to Nigerians to trust the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government as it continues to fulfil its renewed hope mandate. She maintained that President Tinubu and his team are working hard to make living worthwhile for average Nigerians as they progress in making some transformational policies that will improve the living conditions of all people.
“My fellow compatriots! President Tinubu and his team are working hard to ensure the betterment of our country. Since his swearing-in on May 29, 2023, President Tinubu has made some policies that have been in the nation’s interest. The government has generated a lot of revenue and has reduced government spending to a bare minimum. It cushioned the effect of the subsidy removal of the price of petrol by bringing in compressed natural gas (CNG) as an alternative. We now have a stable power supply. Insecurity in the country has been reduced drastically.”
“I implore Nigerians to trust President Tinubu’s government. The statistics have shown that Nigeria is not the same way that President Tinubu met it in 2023. There have been a lot of positive developments in the country since he took over. With time, you will soon see the manifestation of his renewed hope mantra in the full fold. Hon. Oke-Aare Aina described the achievements of President Tinubu as unprecedented, and she assured that Nigeria will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the top countries in the world in terms of fiscal policies, the nation’s prosperity, and human resources before 2027.
