Ibadan, Oyo State.
As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Day, Prince John Aremu, the youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Oyo State Chapter, has greeted Nigerians.
In a heartfelt address, Aremu reminded Nigerians of the strength and resilience that have defined the nation since its founding.

“Sixty-five years ago, our founding fathers envisioned a country destined for greatness,” Aremu stated. “Today, despite numerous challenges, we continue to forge ahead with courage and determination.”

As citizens reflect on the significance of this day, Aremu emphasised that Independence Day should serve not only as a remembrance of past struggles but also as a renewed commitment to Nigeria’s future. He reiterated that the country’s true wealth lies in its people—dedicated individuals and passionate youth eager to contribute to a prosperous nation.
Addressing Nigeria’s youth, Aremu declared, “The future belongs to you. It is time to rise above divisions and embrace a spirit of patriotism. We must become builders, not breakers, and problem-solvers, not mere spectators.
In a moment of solemn reflection, Aremu called for prayers for peace and unity in Nigeria, urging citizens to seek wisdom for their leaders and resilience for the youth. “May our flag continue to wave high as a beacon of hope and progress,” he prayed.
In closing, Aremu expressed unwavering faith in Nigeria’s potential, proclaiming, “Together, with faith and patriotism, we shall build the Nigeria of our dreams.”
As celebrations unfold across the nation, the message is clear: Nigeria is poised to rise again, stronger and greater. Happy Independence Day! Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
