INFERNO: Kolapo Kola-Daisi Commiserates with Victims, Pledges Support for Bodija Market Traders.
The senatorial Candidate of the Accord Party in Oyo South, Mr. Kolapo Kola-Daisi has expressed his condolences to the victims of the Bodija Market fire that occurred in the early hours of Monday.
In a message made available to press, Mr. Kolapo Kola-Daisi expressed sadness over the sudden loss of livelihood for the victims, and pledged his support to provide relief to all parties affected by the inferno.
“My sincere sympathy goes out at this moment to the victims of the fire outbreak that wrecked havoc at the Bodija Market. It is quite saddening, and I can’t possibly imagine the extent of sorrow the men and women who make a honest living in this market must feel waking up to a news of the loss of the sources of livelihood. I deeply commiserate with them”
“I am currently leading my team in an assessment of the situation as we are prepared to offer support and relief to all parties affected, all in the hope to get them back on their feet as soon as possible. We have made enquiries and we shall stay in touch”
Kola-Daisi also advised residents of the state to always put safety measures in place to prevent fire outbreaks; he urged the state fire service to instill a system that supports a prompter response time in cases of an outbreak like this.
