The Renowned Agrotech Expert, Dr Adebayo Adams has  has joined his fellow Ibadan descendants and other eminent Nigerians, at home and in diasporas, to congratulate the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Senator) Moshood Olalekan Ishola Balogun(Ali Okunmade-II) over his coronation, today Friday, March 11, as the monarch of the ancient city – Ibadan.

The front line Member, House Assembly Hopeful, from Ibadan Northwest Constituency, Dr Adams s congratulatory message goes thus,”The Journey Begins as Oba Senator Lekan Moshood Ishola Balogun crowned the 42nd Olubadan.

I congratulate my father, Oba Senator Moshood Lekan Balogun as he ascend the throne of his forefather.

I am happy to celebrate your ascendancy to the throne and it’s now time to write the history together as the epochal journey commenced.

I am glad we have Oba that is well educated, experienced, and your exposure to life in private and public space will be a value-addition not to only to our traditional institution but to the good people of Ibadan land, and friends of Ibadan, in general.

I, thank Almighty God that makes me witnessed the coronation of the first Olubadan that will have Ph’D, former Senator of Federal republic of Nigeria and a man whose his life is a testament of positivity.

Kabiesi, I pray that your time shall be known for good, and may your time be peaceful, accompanied with prosperity to our Land.

I send my best wishes for the continued success of Your Majesty and members of the Royal Family, as well as for the peace, concord and prosperity of Ibadan land and its people.

I want to appeal to all Ibadan indigines at home and in the diaspora, all members of traditional councill, CCII to give our Kabiesi a deem fit support, because this will further give Kabiesi leverage to perform as a distinct Oba with unique panache.

I pray you live long on the throne, Kabiesi, Ke pe Lori Apere awon Baba yin, Ki’ Esin Oba ko je Oko Pe pe Aamin.
