The globally renown Information and Communication Technology(ICT) Magnate, Engr Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen popularly known as FON has joined Ibadan descendants and other eminent Nigerians, at home and in diasporas, to congratulate the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Senator) Moshood Olalekan Ishola Balogun(Ali Okunmade-II) over his coronation, today Friday, March 11, as the monarch of the ancient city – Ibadan.
The Oyo Central Senatorial Hopeful, Faozey in his congratulatory message, made available to newsmen by His Media Aide, Comrade Inaolaji Akinloye, described Oba Balogun’s ascendancy to the throne of his forefathers as a sign of more peaceful, prosperous and successful Ibadan land.
“Your Majesty, sir, I’m joyful to join indigenes of Ibadan land, your family, entire royal families, the government and good people of Oyo State in celebrating Your ascension to the ancient throne of your forebears. ‘Kabiesi! Kade Pe Lori, Ki Bata Pe Lese, Ki Iru Kere Oba Ko Je Je Je, Ko Di Abere, Ki Oba Pe Lori Apere Ooo’.
“Oba Lekan Balogun ascends the throne as a monarch with extraordinary qualities and impressive records. Kabiesi is heaven-sent. Baba is more than capable to bring more dignity, pride and prestige to the throne of his ancestors through his organic leadership styles and ingenious disposition”, Faozey hailed.
Faozey extolled Oba Balogun and saluted his passion geared towards the progress of Ibadan land.
