The Federal Commissioner for Public Complaints Commission(PCC), in Oyo state, Asiwaju Folawiyo Bello has joined Ibadan descendants and other eminent Nigerians, at home and in diasporas, to congratulate the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Senator) Moshood Olalekan Ishola Balogun (Ali Okunmade-II) over his coronation, today Friday, March 11, as the monarch of the ancient city – Ibadan.
The PCC Helmsman, Folawiyo in his congratulatory message described Oba Balogun’s ascendancy to the throne of his forefathers as an sign of more peaceful, prosperous and successful Ibadan land.
“Your Majesty, sir, I’m joyful to join indigenes of Ibadan land, your family, entire royal family, the government and good people of Oyo State in celebrating Your ascension to the ancient throne of your forebears. ‘Kabiesi! Kade Pe Lori, Ki Bata Pe Lese, Ki Iru Kere Oba Ko Je Je Je,
“Oba Lekan Balogun ascends the throne as a monarch with imperial panache. Kabiesi is a gold among special metals. Baba is up to the task to bring more dignity, pride and prestige to the throne of his ancestors through his charismatic mode of leadership and sagacious disposition”, Folawiyo lauded.
In his words, the influential Chieftain of APC lauded Oba Balogun and saluted his passion geared towards the progress of Yoruba land.
Folawiyo wished the first class royal father many peaceful and fruitful years on his ancient throne.
