INSTALLATION: Sen Buhari Rejoices With Oba Lekan Balogun As The 42nd Olubadan
- -Expresses Confidence on Monarch’s Developmental Mission.

The Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai has rejoiced with Oba(Dr.) Lekan Balogun following the monarch’s coronation as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland today.
In a press release issued and made available to journalists in the early hours of yesterday in Ibadan, Senator Buhari expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God for the life of the new monarch which he identified as a fulfilled one, worthy of emulation to younger ones.
While describing Oba Lekan Balogun as a figure who has been part of Olubadan-in-Council for more than four decades Senator Buhari stated that he was sure Ibadanland will experience rapid development, peaceful coexistence and unity of purpose during the reign of the Paramount ruler.
The Legislator admonished the people of Ibadanland and Oyo State at large to rally round Oba Dr. Balogun so that his reign shall also feature monumental achievements that will be second to none in the history of the ancient city.
He enjoined Olubadan to sustain his admirable human relations with open door policy so that useful advice and suggestions that will place him in the highest pedestal in the comity of traditional rulers in Nigeria and abroad are taken from his subjects.
Buhari congratulated the Olubadan-in-Council, Ibadan Council of Indigenes, technocrats, artisans and market men, and women, on the successful showcase of new Olubadan while praying that his reign shall be peaceful and beneficial to all and sundry.
