Int’l Peace Day: Adelabu Bags Prestigious Award, Emphasises Peace As Foundation for Nigeria’s Growth

On the occasion of the 2025 International Peace Day organised by the Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Hon. Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo A. Adelabu, was honoured with a Peace Building Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to peace, unity, and sustainable development in Nigeria.

The award was received on his behalf by one of his aides, Comrade Femi Awogboro, who conveyed the minister’s deep appreciation for the recognition and reiterated his unwavering commitment to promoting peace, social harmony, and national progress.

Chief Adelabu dedicated the award to all peace-loving Nigerians and emphasised that peace remains the foundation for the nation’s growth and prosperity.
