Int’l Workers’ Day: Kazeem Ashagidigbi Harps ‘Good Welfare Packages’ for Workers.
As the world celebrates Workers Day, today, an employer of labour, has said that it is imperative for government and private organizations to give the welfare of their staff utmost priority for maximum productivity, efficient and effective service delivery.
Kazeem Ashagidigbi made this known during his message to mark this year workers day in Nigeria.
According to him, no government or private organizations can endure without placing premium consideration on it’s workers’ welfare
“There’s no doubt, human capital , in both the private and public sector, play a pivotal role in the advancement of socio- economic development of the country.
Ashagidigbi reiterated that concerted efforts must be made to correct anomalies in welfare packages especially in this era of galloping inflation around the globe, proper implementation of welfare packages will improve performance on a general note.
Ashagidigbi congratulated the Nigerian workers for the kind of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be. He recalled his pro-Workers policies when he was Lagos State governor for 8 years.”Bola Ahmed Tinubu as we all know is a workers-friendly administrator, and I can vouch that he will put smiles on the faces of Nigerians’’, he stated.
While appreciating Labour Union leaders in the country, Ashagidigbi charged the Labour to be more proactive in protecting the interest of Nigerian workers in both the public and private sectors for the overall development of the country.
