Iseyin-Ogbomosho Road: Engr Okanlawon Lauds Oyo Govt, Solicits for Ibarapa.
Idere born Engineering Luminary, from Ibarapa Central, and Founder, Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation(OOF), Engr. David Olusegun Okanlawon has lauded Oyo-State government, under the watch of Engr Seyi Makinde, over the recently awarded 76.7km Iseyin-Ogbomosho road by the current administration.
Okanlawon saluted government’s thoughtfulness on the project and canvassed supports for similar project, to be replicated in Ibarapa region of the state.
The notable Philanthropist and Community Developer, Engr Okanlawon showed optimism that Ibarapa region will not be left out of the state’s developmental plan.
“I will like to remind Mr Governor to consider Ibarapa as a part of the State that deserves the implementation of such developmental plans,”he said.
Engr Okanlawon noted that,”Of all the seven geo-political zones in Oyo State, Ibarapa is the only region that is yet to have even a meter-length of dual-carriage way. He recommended dualization of the Igboora – Iganna road and maintained that it will birth development in Ibarapa, and Oyo State as a whole.
“I encourage our governor to consider Ibarapa a worthy zone to receive such magnanimous developmental projects,” he reiterated.
