On behalf of my humble self, I, Hon. Ajarat Taofeek, extended my profound appreciation to the distinguished leaders, elders, stakeholders, party executives, women’s groups, youth representatives, and the entire family of the All Progressives Congress in Itesiwaju Local Government and across Oyo State for the confidence reposed in me through the ratification of the elders’ decision to present me before the party as the Party Chairperson today, Saturday, February 21st, 2026, at Baptist Day Basic School, Ilero Road, Otu.

This overwhelming support is not taken for granted. It is deeply valued and sincerely appreciated.

Your decision reflects your commitment to unity, inclusiveness, and the continued progress of our great party. It is a demonstration of trust in my years of loyalty, service, and dedication to the progressive cause. The consultations, encouragement, and prayers from leaders and stakeholders at every level played a critical role in this journey, and for that, I remain immensely grateful.

I, Hon. Ajarat Taofeek, recognise that this ratification is not merely a personal victory but a collective triumph for unity, internal democracy, and grassroots participation in Itesiwaju Local Government. It is also a strong statement that our party believes in capacity, experience, consistency, and the meaningful inclusion of women in leadership.

At this critical time, when the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues to shape national development and reposition governance across Nigeria, the responsibility before us at the local level is even greater. The task ahead demands cooperation, strategic mobilisation, reconciliation where necessary, and sustained grassroots engagement.

I, Hon. Ajarat, assure all stakeholders that I will justify the confidence reposed in me, and I remain committed to:
