Itesiwaju LG’s Ajumose APC Legacy Group Endorses President Bola Tinubu’s 2nd Term Bid

Members of the caucus, All Progressives Congress (APC), Itesiwaju Local Government Council under the aegis of the Ajumose Legacy Forum have pledged their full support for President Bola Tinubu’s second-term bid with a resolve to work assiduously for the overall development of the party.
Members of the party declared their support at the party’s general meeting, held in Otu Itesiwaju Local Government Council.

In a communique respectively signed and issued by the chieftains of the group, Barrister Leke Oladeji, Alhaji Dejo Adebisi, the Agoro of Okaka land, Chief Femi Durodola, and the Agbaakin of Ipapo land, Hon. Niyi Adeagbo, the Ajumose APC Legacy Forum stated that policies and programmes of President Bola Tinubu, coupled with remarkable development recorded in various sectors, spurred their decision to support President Tinubu’s second-term bid.

The party members, under the platform, also congratulated the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, on his 59th birthday, wishing him a long life in prosperity.

The meeting, which was presided over by notable party leaders, including Barrister Leke Oladeji, Alhaji Dejo Adebisi, Alhaji Rasak Bello and Alhaja Taofik Ajara, among others, emphasised unity of purpose in Oyo APC.
While speaking, the duo of Barrister Leke Oladeji and Alhaji Dejo Adebisi, in their separate remarks, admonished members to be faithful and be committed to the common goals of the party. They encouraged members not to be intimidated by the antics of the opposition.

The leaders at the meeting, who presented Hon. Kehinde Oyetoro as the chairman of the committee on voter card registration, urged members to obtain their voter cards and promote the image of the party in order to attract new members.
Party members also lauded Senator Fatai Buhari for his pro-people contributions, particularly with the provision of a motorised borehole dedicated to the memory of the late Chief Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu on a year remembrance. While commending Senator Buhari for his philanthropic gesture and unflinching assistance to Itesiwaju APC members, the group charged him with his promises, especially on the construction of primary school blocks at Oke-Amu Community College to be named after the late Chief Omodewu.
The party also resolved to form a formidable team under APC Itesiwaju Ajumose Legacy Forum and urged aggrieved members to sheath their swords and prioritise collective over personal interest for the success of the party.
A minute’s silence was observed as a mark of honour to the memories of the former Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Prince Olaide Akinremi, Chief Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, and other party faithful who had gone to the great beyond.
Also in attendance were the APC members and chieftains from across the 10 wards of the council area.
