Ibadan, Oyo State.

The Executive Council of Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo-State has perfected all plans to name a shopping complex after the late Honourable Member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Prince Musiliu Olaide Akinremi (Jagaban).

This was revealed by the Executive Chairman, Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Seun Olufade, during a supportive programme for education facilitated by the late Akinremi, where sixty thousand (60,000) exercise books and one thousand (1,000) school bags were shared with all the pupils in public primary schools across Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

According to Olufade, Prince Akinremi was a legislator who delivered dividends of democracy and rendered quality representation to his constituents during his lifetime, irrespective of the party to which they belonged. “I witnessed where people were talking good about him and they didn’t know that I knew him. He had a good personality. On behalf of the Oyo State Government and the good people of Ibadan North LGA, we are commissioning a shopping complex that will be named after Prince Akinremi Jagaban on September 26.” He hinted.

Prior to this period, the Oyo State Government has promised to name a new estate at Samonda after the late rep. Then, the announcement was made by the Deputy Governor of the state, Mr. Bayo Lawal, during the 8th day fidau prayer for the late parliamentarian in July.

In a related development,”Some of the projects facilitated by the late Prince Olaide Akinremi that have been completed will start to be commissioned in the next few weeks.” PAJ legacy team hinted.
