‘Jagaban Lives On’: Ibadan North Rep, Prince Akinremi Drills Boreholes, Facilitates Solar Lights, Electric Transformers for Constituents

Afeez Bello,
Ibadan, Oyo State.

As part of his efforts to enhance pro-people representation in his constituency, the late honourable member of the House of Representatives from Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Musiliu Olaide Akinremi Jagaban, who passed away recently, has facilitated two boreholes, two electric transformers, and hundreds of solar lights across his constituency—the plans he set in motion before his demise.

It was reliably gathered that work commenced on the borehole project in Agbaje Area, Ward 8, yesterday, and it will soon commence in Shobande Area (Ward 7), probably today or in a few days.

This newspaper, Africano Trumpeters, learnt that the electric transformers will be installed in two different wards in the constituency: the Ashi-Bodija area in Ward 5 and an estate very close to the market in Ward 12.

Also, in order to enhance the security and protection of the lives and properties of his constituents, hundreds of solar lights will be installed across all 12 wards in Ibadan North Federal Constituency. The installation of this project will come up in a couple of days on all the grounds that have been noted in the constituency before the federal representative died.

Akinremi Jagaban, 58, was an accomplished businessman, pro-people politician, notable philanthropist, avid reader, and student of the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, before he took his last breath.

The full-blooded and illustrious son of Ibadan Land has set a standard that cannot be undermined in the political history of Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.
