‘Jagaban Lives On’: Prince Akinremi Peace Initiative Building Completes, as Participants receive Certificates, Cash Gifts

In his efforts to achieve growth and prosperity across all the communities in his Constituency, the 2days peace initiative Building Program facilitated by Late Hon. Prince Musiliu Olaide Akinremi Jagaban held simultaneously at D’Ace Hall, Yemetu, and Prince Akinremi Hall, Samonda Ibadan, came to an end Tuesday September 10.

The laudable program went through a series of recap of the tutorials and lectures that was delivered yesterday by the lecturers from Public Complaint Commission (PCC). The lecturers examined the beauty of the three religions, how people later initiated what is not in them, History of Public Complaint Commission (PCC) and how the commission came into existence during the General Yakubu Gowon Era. They orientated all the religious and community leaders in attendance on how they can settle disputes in their various place of worships and communities such as dialogue facilitation; promoting peace and reconciliation through sermons; build trust and foster unity; and if all these cannot profer solution to the existing issues, they can resort to legal mechanism by approaching Public Complaint Commission (PCC), Police, Civil Defence and the Court of law.

In her remarks, Mrs Akerele, one of the leaders in All Progressives Congress (APC), Ibadan North Local Government Chapter, noted that “I was born into politics and I have never seen someone like Prince Akinremi. Even my father, Salako, did not outperform him. All his legacy shall be sustained and will not be destroyed”, she wished.

While giving his appreciation note, the elder brother of the late Honourable, Mr Abideen Akinremi popularly known as “Big Daddy” commended all the leaders, followers and supporters of Prince Akinremi Jagaban who stood by him and all his activities during his lifetime and after death. God has granted all our requests to him, he assured.

It is important to note that all the participants received Certificate of participation and went home with a Cash Gift of Fifty Thousand Naira (50,000).
