‘Jagaban Lives On’: Prince Akinremi Facilitates Fire Station At Bodija
Afeez Bello ,
Ibadan, Oyo State.
As part of his efforts to drastically reduce inferno in various commercial centres in Ibadan, the late Honourable Member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Musiliu Olaide Akinremi Jagaban, has facilitated a modern fire station for the Isopako Community and its environs at Bodija, in Ibadan.
The project, which commenced early this month, witnessed tremendous construction from the well-dedicated contractors and committed workers at the site, which could be tagged as an ‘indispensable developmental project’.
In his earlier remarks, Elder Sunday Akinpelu JP, one of the fontline chairmen in Isopako Community, noted that equipment brought to the site by the contractor was of great quality, which shows that the project is very substantial.
He continued,”We have been requesting that the government should construct a fire station for us since 25 years ago because we witness inferno in this area almost every year and no arms of government in the country take it as a priority until recently, when we took our demand to Prince Akinremi, who promised us that he would facilitate it, and he fulfilled it. May Almighty God continue to show his mercy to our constituency promise fulfiller’, the late Akinremi Jagaban”, he prayed.
This newspaper, Africano Trumpeters, can authoritatively report that the project is near completion and will be commissioned as soon as possible. According to the residents of the community, the project would bring great relief to the area and its environs.
