As gathered, the construction of three blocks of classrooms, facilitated by the late federal lawmaker, has commenced at Methodist N5 Basic School, beside NTA, Agodi-Gate, Ibadan.
Before his demise, this was part of Prince Akinremi’s efforts to enhance quality and qualitative education across his constituency, as he considered education a tool for imparting knowledge to the lives of the young in his constituency, Oyo State, and Nigeria in general.
The school, which was established in 1955, had nearly gone moribund. This prompted Akinremi to ensure the facilitation of the project in order to revive the infrastructure in the school.
It is important to note that Akinremi has been consolidating social stability since he has facilitated these kinds of projects that enabled pupils and students to gain knowledge and skills that led them to fulfilling lives across his constituency.
In another development, there were some key education programs that were laid down by the late Akinremi prior to his demise, of which all the pupils and students in public schools across Ibadan North Federal Constituency will be beneficiaries. This program would commence immediately after the schools resumed for the new term.
