‘Jagaban Lives On’: PAJ Legacy Team Commemorates 41-Day ‘Fidau’ with Philanthropic Gestures
Few hours to the 41 days fidau prayer of late Prince Musiliu Olaide Akinremi Jagaban, PAJ Legacy team has organized ‘social package’ programmes for widows and others across the 12 wards in Ibadan North Federal Constituency on August 19, at Samonda, in Ibadan.
Earlier, the organizers of the programme and others in attendance commiserated with the Oyo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the demise of the party State Chairman, Barr. Isaac Omodewu who passed away Monday morning.
At the event, a special prayer was organized for PAJ Legacy Team on their immense and dedicated role in the success of late Akinremi which brought a positive change to the political history of Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
The organisers and beneficiaries also used the avenue to pray for the late federal lawmaker and his family.
In his remarks, a prominent leader within the party, Alhaji Kayode Adanla noted that the sustainability of Akinremi legacy should be people’s priority since he has set a standard and raised the bar.”Those kinds of historical achievements should be consolidated”, he maintained.
At the event, the organisers donated cash gifts and packs of rice to all the widows, the aged and less privileged in attendance.
