We live in a state that is blessed with business tycoons, industrialists, CEO’s of multinationals and young public -office holders yet there is one name on the lips of hundreds of thousands of people in the state.
The will to give or lend will make you someone’s friend. The people of Oyo State are still full of praises to Engr Joseph Olasunkami Tegbe, a man generous enough to have them at heart, especially during a trying time across the globe. He never ceases to render help when they beckon on him.
A man from “nowhere”, “who is Joseph Tegbe?” were the words of many when he came out in 2018 to run for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress(APC) governorship candidate. Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, he has been at the forefront, supporting both the aged and the young.
Joseph Tegbe was deeply touched when he heard about the deteriorating health condition of the popular nollywood actor Alhaji Gbolagade Akinpelu popularly known as Ogun Majek so he made a huge donation towards his medical bill.
“Givers never lack” were the prayers rendered by Joseph Tegbe’s beneficiaries during the start of the pandemic and Christians during the last Easter celebration as he distributed thousands of food items to the good people of Oyo state across the 33 local government areas.
“How can we repay a loving and giving man, who is always there for us” were the words of over 5000 Muslim faithfuls during the last Eid Mubarak celebration as Tegbe took to the streets of Oyo state to distribute food items making it the third food distribution supports to people of Oyo state since the pandemic.
May the blessing of the Almighty not cease in the life of Engineer Tegbe as he continues to put smiles on the faces of the people of Oyo state.
