Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo-State, Barrister Akeem Agbaje has greeted Nigerians on June 12, Democracy Day.
Barr. Agbaje hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for setting Nigeria on the path of progress. President Tinubu, who was elected president in 2023, is the first Yoruba president of Nigeria.
“This is a historic day for Nigeria. We are celebrating the day that democracy was finally restored to our country after years of military rule. We are also celebrating the election of our first Yoruba president, who is a man of great vision and experience”
Agbaje said,”Let’s support our amiable President, Asiwaju Tinubu. He has pledged to unite Nigeria and to improve the lives of all Nigerians. He has also promised to fight corruption and to improve the economy.
“Let’s trust our President. He is committed to making Nigeria a better place for all Nigerians. He has promised that he will work hard to unite our country, to improve our economy, and to fight corruption.”
“This is a day for us to celebrate our democracy and to recommit ourselves to the ideals of freedom, justice, and equality. We are grateful for the sacrifices that have been made to bring us to this point, and we are determined to build a better future for our country.” The legal luminary, Barr. Agbaje said.
June 12 is a national holiday in Nigeria, and it is a day for Nigerians to celebrate democracy and to reflect on the progress that the country has made since the return to democracy in 1999.
