Just In: LAUTECH Alumni Elects New Excos.

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology(LAUTECH) Alumni Association, Oyo state chapter has elected new executives into office yesterday in Ibadan.

The newly elected executives of the Alumni Association, that are saddled with the responsibility of taking the Alumni to an enviable status, are:

Chairman – Ijadunola Olushina
Vice Chairman- Adekunle Adetunji
Gen. Secretary – John OluwaBunmi
Ass Gen sec – Azeez Taibat
P.R.O – Inaolaji Akinloye
Social Secretary – Adesina Barakat Adenike
Financial Secretary – Tolulope Abisoye.

The newly elected Chairman in his acceptance speech said,” I’m delighted to be a beneficiary of this historical transition in the history of ‘LAUTECH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF OYO STATE CHAPTER’ “.

Engr Ijadunola Olushina further stated, “When we look back at how the journey was smooth and rough for the immediate past executives, we have no choice than to give glory to God Almighty for the maturity and pacesetting attitude of the stakeholders, the leaders and powerful congressmen, of this chapter, hence, we therefore, pledge to demonstrate exemplary leadership, to be of good character and to build on the enviable progress made by the past executives and also make good redress to the areas where they were deficient, as it is evident no one is perfect in life”.

In the spirit of selflessness and readiness to inject a newer vision into the Alumni and doggedly defend the integrity of the Alumni, the newly elected PRO, Comrade Inaolaji Adisa Akinloye also commended Akeem Kareem led executives for their tremendous performance while in office which will serve as a template to move the Alumni forward. The PRO sworn the oath of allegiance to the ‘Alma Mata’ and Alumni, to ensure the good name is sustained and the enviable reputation of the institution is uphold at all times by the virtue of his office.

All the members of the newly elected executive councils pledged to always put the interest of the congressmen first and give regard to the established institution of this noble association, constitution.
