Just In: MAAN Honours Adelabu, Koninbaje, Oriyomi, Merenge, Others Tomorrow in Ibadan.
Music Advertisement Association of Nigeria(MAAN), Oyo state chapter, has perfected all plans to induct the former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN), Chief Bayo Adelabu as its grand patron, tomorrow, at Top One Garden, Podo, in Ibadan.
Alhaja Sharat Aduke(Koninbaje), the Iyaloja General of the state will also be inducted as grand matron of the association.
This is contained in a press release, jointly issued by the Governor and Secretary of the association in the state, Mr. Ganiyu Ajadi(Vasco) and Prince Hammed Kolawole Abiola(Abisak).
In the similar arrangement, the zonal leaderships of of the association from ATISBO Local Government and Ibadan Southwest, have congratulated Chief Bayo Adelabu on the induction and described the honour as a well deserved one.
At the event, part of the activities scheduled for tomorrow is the presentation of certificates to the newly elected zonal chairmen.
Among the chairmen to be presented with the certificates of office are: Atisbo Local Government – Baba Ebenezer, Kajola Local Government – Abbey Abiodun(fear God), Ibadan South West Local Government-Liadi Akanbi Muraina(Chairman Limson Communications), Iseyin Local Government- Loyingbo Johnson, Ibadan and others.
The people expected to be awarded(Musicians’ category), at the event are Alhaji Rasheed Ayinde, as “The Most Efficient Fuji Musician”. Alhaji Tiri Alamu Gbolagade as the “Akeweje Onin Fuji” in the state. Awardees in newsmen category are Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat as “The Best Presenter of The Year-2021” and others.
The association’s Council of Elders’ Chairman, Alhaji Akeem Hussein, from Ibadan North Local Government Area congratulated all the honorees and welcomed the invited guests to the function tomorrow.
