Just In: TLF BoT Chair, Ganiyu Akeem, Members Visit Ooni of Ife, Canvass Supports for Tinubu “2023 Presidency”.
The Chairman, Board of Trustees(BoT) of the “Tinubu Legacy Forum(TLF)”, Alhaji Ganiyu Akeem, in company of other BoT members, national executives and other members of the Forum have paid courtesy visit on His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ọjájá II, the Ooni of Ife, on Monday, at His palace, in the ancient city of Ife, Osun state, Nigeria.
The Forum used the avenue to laud His Majesty over His numerous efforts geared towards the progress of Yoruba land and they canvassed supports for 2023 presidential project of former Lagos state Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu(BAT).
In his open remarks, the BoT Chairman, Ganiyu Akeem stated that;”Your Imperial Majesty, sir, we’re here, today, based on three reasons. Firstly, to salute your frantic efforts on fostering peace, unity and progress among Yorubas and, generally, across Nigeria. Secondly, we’re here on Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu BAT’s 2023 presidential agenda. Sir, we need your full supports on this project and we want Your Majesty to broker harmonisation deal among Asiwaju Tinubu, Vice Osunbajo and others who are Asiwaju Tinubu’s mentees that might be vying for presidential post, come 2023, as well. This is to avoid possible reoccurrence of Awolowo/Akintola imbroglios, ahead of 2019 election. And thirdly, we want to appoint Your Majesty as our, TLF Life Royal Father, and as a Non Governmental Organization(NGO), we count on your supports in all ramifications.
While responding, Ooni lauded TLF leadership for their courtesy visit and stated that;”It’s my pleasure to welcome you here today and thanks for your commendations. Firstly, I’ve noted all your requests and I will definitely work on it. Indeed, you’ve my supports and you’re, always, welcome. Meanwhile, I want to advise you to be true to the agenda you’re propagating, it’s good one. And I want to advise you to be consistent, by the Grace of Almighty God Eledumare, you shall not labour in vain and I’m happy that the person you’re canvassing supports for, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is an integrous statesman, charismatic helmsman and merciful benefactor who has positively transformed lives of many who have come in contacts with him in life, especially, his followers and mentees.
