LAUTECH: FILGS National Lauds Makinde over Relocation of Faculty of Agric to Iseyin.
The National President of “Federation of Iseyin Local Government Students”, Comrade Adefabi Waliu has written to convey the gratitude of the entire students of Iseyin Local Government Area to Governor of Oyo-State, Engr. Seyi Makinde over the relocation of LAUTECH Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Sciences to the ancient city of Iseyin.
The president stated, “We appreciate His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde for fulfilling His campaign promises. Your antecedence within the short period in office speaks volume and it has clearly defined you as a governor that works the talk.
“With no iota of doubt, you have expressed your commitment and determination toward having a better Oyo State as it has reflected in your blue print to enhance quality academic delivery to the people of Oyo State.
“As the National body of the indigenous students in the town, we will be ungrateful if we fail to appreciate Your Excellency for the relocation of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Sciences to Iseyin township. The decision is very concise as the town is blessed with fertile land for Agricultural produce. It is believed that the development will not alone improve the economy of the town but also that of the region at large.
“In conclusion, we appreciate His Excellency for the campaign promise kept. As indigenes of the land, we declare our supports on this recent development and we promise to be accommodating as usual”, Adefabi reiterated.
