LAUTECH: NCC Boss, Akande Grants Alumni Association’s Request, Approves “Wireless Internet Cloud” Facility’s Upgrade for Institution.

The Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande has approved the upgrade of “Wireless Internet Cloud(WIC) Facility” for Ladoke Akintola University of Technology(LAUTECH), Ogbomoso.

According to a credible source, the “approval letter” for the project implementation, under the Advance Digital Appreciation Programme for Tertiary Institutions(ADAPTI) has been dispatched to the university management.

This Newspaper, Africano Trumpeters reliably gathered that “LAUTECH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION”, Oyo state chapter has earlier made this request before the Commission’s Chairman, Prof Adeolu Akande and Akande as a charismatic leader considered it laudable for research and school development.

Engr Ijadunola, chairman of the Alumni association, in the state chapter could not hold his joy.”Indeed, I’m so happy to express the association’s gratitude to Prof. Akande and by extension to the entire NCC, under his watch, by considering and granting our request. Thank you sir”, he said.
