Let’s Give Immediate Support to Victims of Ibadan Explosion – Senator Buhari Tells FG

A call has gone to the federal government through the National Emergency Management Authority to provide prompt support to victims of the Ibadan explosion.

This call was made by the Senator who is representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai, in a press release issued earlier today to sympathise with the victims.

While describing the incident as very unfortunate, the lawmaker commended the efforts of various agencies that immediately responded to the occurrence and saved the lives of many victims.

While he prayed for the souls of those who lost their lives in the sad occurrence to rest in peace, Senator Buhari prayed for those who secured various degrees of injuries to have a quick recovery and return to their various families on time.

The legislator charged the federal government to, as a matter of urgency, provide necessary assistance to the victims, who have lost virtually all they have acquired to the explosion.

He challenged the security agencies to get to the root of the ugly incident and bring the perpetrators to book and guard against the reoccurrence of such incidents in Ibadan and every other part of Oyo State.
