Meet OYHA Hopeful, from Ibadan Southwest State Constituency-I, Hon Oladepo Hamzat Kazeem Omowale Popularly Known As “Ologo”.

Kazeem Omowale (Ologo) was born to Oladepo Hamzat family, Ajolodo compound, Isale Osi, Ward 2 of Ibadan Southwest Local Government Area of Oyo-State.

The young Kazeem started his primary school education at Progressive Day School, Alaadorin, between 1983 and 1989.

Omowale proceeded to St Luke’s College Molete, Ibadan for his Secondary School Education between 1990 and 1996.

As a lover of education, Kazeem Omowale Obtained National Diploma in Public Administration in year 2015 at The Polytechnic Ibadan, while he is currently running his Higher National Diploma, in the same field of endeavor, at the above named institution of higher learning, as well.

As a committed youth, who is very diligent and industrious, Kazeem worked for “RESEARCH AND MARKETING SERVICE” as a Supervisor between 2007 and 2011.

Also, Omowale has previously worked for “Practical Sample International(PSI)”, Lagos, as Supervisor between 2011 and 2014.

Ologo, as Oladepo Kazeem Omowale is fondly called by his admirers, is currently working as an Ibadan Regional Field Officer at Market Monitoring Services(MMS).

Honourable Oladepo Kazeem Omowale is not a stranger when we are talking of partisan politics in the Ibadan South West Local Government Area of the State. He has been practising politics since his childhood, and this has catapulted him as a well-known grassroot politician in his local government, and beyond.

In his fruitful political journey, Kazeem was appointed as a Supervisory Councillor for Environment to Hon. Gbenga Opaleye between 2017 and 2018. During this short period, Ologo had laudable achievements as an executive member to the then caretaker chairman. Then, he facilitated and constructed boreholes at two different areas, such as Oja’ba and Aparija Compound, Isale Osi, Ibadan.

While he was elected as a Councillor in 2018 under Hon. Taoreed Adeleke led administration, Kazeem Omowale’s achievements includes but they are not limited to:
Firstly, Installation of Electric Transformer at Isale Osi.
Secondly, Facilitation of well constructed drainage around Apanpa Area, Isale Osi, among many others.

In his bid to secure a better future for his constituents and serve masses,more, Hon. Oladepo Kazeem Omowale “Ologo” is currently aspiring for the legislative position of Ibadan Southwest Constituency-I, in Oyo State House of Assembly, come 2023 general election.
